Poster Session to Enrich Congress Program with Innovative Studies
Studies will show innovations in raw materials and processes focusing on sustainability and performance.
Adding to the over 100 oral presentations on the program for the Congress and the Radiation Curing Seminar, 41 papers will be on display at the Poster Session expanding the quality content offerings of ABRAFATI 2015.
They are high-end studies conducted by researchers from the industry and academic institutions on themes that are relevant to the coatings supply chain, such as innovations that point the way the coatings of the future.
Bio-renewable raw materials and waste reuse in production processes are going to be the highlights, as are last-generation resins and additives that optimize coating properties. Also included are several papers focusing on either reducing or eliminating VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions.
“The studies presented in poster form add a lot of value to the Congress due to both their contents and the interaction with their authors that they enable. The themes are quite relevant and diverse, comprising solutions for the various types of paints and coatings: decorative, automotive, protective, road-marking, powder and others,” says ABRAFATI 2015 coordinator Telma Florêncio.
The Poster Session will be held in the foyer of the congress venue, next to the ABRAFATI booth, and will allow all attendees at the Congress and visitors to the exhibition to see the papers and interact with their authors for the duration of the three-day trade show, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
