Congress to Comprise Diverse, High-Quality Contents
Dissemination of knowledge on innovation ensured by rich and diverse program boasting larger number of lectures and participation of experts from all over the world
Highlighting the latest researches and technology trends, with special emphasis on sustainability, the congress is bringing together the world’s leading experts from the industry and the academia.
The Science Committee, consisting of professionals recognized for their competence, has evaluated and selected the studies they received considering their relevance, innovation, and the contribution they make to the evolution of paints. “The high quality of the papers submitted for evaluation has led to the decision to increase the number of lectures to 90 for this edition,” explains Gisele Bonfim, manager of technical and environmental affairs at ABRAFATI and Committee coordinator along with Jorge Fazenda.
Other Committee members confirm that statement, such as Celdia Bittencourt Guedes Lizardo, of BASF, who said, “The papers we received are excellent and quite diverse, comprising various technologies that are useful to professionals across the coatings supply chain. Among them, I would underscore scientific papers involving raw materials, packaging materials, product life cycles, and new concepts of paint.”
Maria Cristina K.C. de Carvalho, of Renner Sayerlack, follows the same line of thinking: “I was very pleasantly surprised by the studies, some of which quite technical in nature, that were recently presented at the European Coatings Show 2015. This really confirms the importance of our congress in the international arena.”
